Jean Fitzwater Whetzel

Jean Fitzwater Whetzel, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at her Manassas home.

She had retired from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and was a member of Nokesville United Methodist Church. She loved her flower gardens and cherished time spent with family.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Brown Fitzwater, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Miller Robert Whetzel, parents, Charles Brown and Nettie Louise Allen Fitzwater, and a brother, Harry Allen Fitzwater.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June28, at Pierce Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Nokesville United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Valley View Cemetery.
