Chamber Announces “Connections 2011”

“Connections”, Prince William County’s largest tradeshow, returns on Thursday, October 20 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center.  Connections 2011 is free and open to the public.

Hosted by the Prince William Chamber, Chairman Lucy Beauchamp is excited to see what this year’s show will bring, “Connections is a showcase for local businesses. I enjoy seeing members of the community get to know businesses that they might not otherwise be aware of. As its name suggests, Connections is primarily about bringing businesses together with potential customers, be they fellow businesses or consumers,” says Lucy via press release. “Many exhibitors also use the show as an arena to make a splash with a big announcement or new product.”

The new MyChamberApp, a free app available for iPhone, Droid and Blackberry, which is a GPS-enabled tool for finding the nearest bank, restaurant, gym or any Chamber-member business, will also be unveiled at the Connections event.  The event will also feature more than 100 exhibitors from around Prince William County, Manassas City and Manassas Park.  Based on previous years, the Chamber expects over 1,600 attendees.
Parking, attendance, food and drink will be free for Connections 2011.  Attendees will also be eligible for a $500 cash prize drawing, door prizes, and giveaways.
