MANASSAS — (Press Release) Here’s the latest police from Manassas police.
Stabbing **ARREST**
On February 4, 2019, at 8:41 p.m., officers from the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 9600 block of Grant Ave for a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival officers located an adult female suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim, who was identified as a 26-year-old resident of Manassas, was flown to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed the victim and suspect, who were known to each other, were involved in a physical altercation which escalated when the suspect stabbed the victim. The suspect was taken into custody on scene by officers without incident.
The suspect was identified as Ryan HOGAN, a 38-year-old resident of Manassas. HOGAN was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding and was held without bond.

Sexual Assault **ARREST**
On February 4, 2019 at 1:23 a.m., officers responded to the 9200 block of Hastings Dr for a report of a sexual assault. The investigation revealed the victim and the suspect, who was known to each other, were at the suspect’s residence for the Super Bowl.
At some time during the party, the suspect sexually assaulted the victim at the residence. The victim, was identified as a 23-year-old female resident of Fairfax County, was treated at a local area hospital and released. The suspect, who fled the area prior to police arrival, was later located nearby sleeping in an unlocked vehicle and was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was identified as Stephen ICE, a 31-year-old resident of Manassas.
Following the investigation ICE was charged with Aggravated Sexual Battery, Object Sexual Penetration, Destruction of Property, Public Intoxication, Carrying a Firearm while intoxicated, and Vehicle Tampering.
