Patricia Ann Reed, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Emma Johnson. Patricia was born in Flint, MI on Sept 25, 1938. She was married to Roger J. Reed, who predeceased her. She is survived by her sister, Joan Brasseur, of Port Charlotte, FL, four sons, Michael P. Reed, of Inverness, FL, Timothy S. Reed, of McLean, VA, David C. Reed of Traverse City, MI, and Jeffrey A. Reed, of Centreville, VA, as well as five grandchildren, Alexander, Riley, Nicholas, Sawyer and Juliet.
Patricia was a graduate of the University of Michigan, and enjoyed helping others in the Social Services field in Southwest Florida after 25 years as a military spouse. She was an avid reader, an accomplished puzzle solver, and rarely missed a Florida Gator game.
A celebration of life will be held at Park Place, 9659 Manassas Drive, Manassas Park, VA on Saturday, January 20th at 1 PM. Details of interment at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, Florida will be set at a later date.
