Warren Ford Kisendaffer, 89 of Lorton, VA died at INOVA Mount Vernon Hospital on Thursday, October 19, 2017.
He was born in Alexandria, VA in 1928 to the late Lawrence and Edith Kisendaffer. Warren served faithfully in the United States Air Force. He has been a member of the Lorton Volunteer Fire Department since 1955 and assisted running the Bingo Program at the Fire Department. He also was a member at Cranford United Methodist Church in Lorton, VA and in his spare time he loved sports. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Warren is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lucy Delores Kisendaffer; his son and daughter-in-law Norman and Debi Kisendaffer; his daughter and son-in-law Leslie and David Norris. He also leaves to cherish his memory his 3 grandchildren, Joel and his wife Melissa, Lindsay, and Brian, along with his 2 great grandchildren, Joshua and Lillian.
Family and friends will be received at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 13318 Occoquan Road, Woodbridge, VA 22191 on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A life celebration service will be held at Cranford United Methodist Church, 9912 Old Colchester Road, Lorton VA 22079 on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Pohick Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to Cranford United Methodist Church or the Lorton Volunteer Fire Department located at 7701 Armistead Road, Lorton VA 22079.
