Sandra Kay Clarke, age 77, passed away peacefully, on August 26, 2017 at Novant Health Prince William Medical Center.
She was born on December 31, 1939 in Roanoke, VA to the late Calvin W. Bruce and Carrie Webster Bruce. Mrs. Clarke was retired from Manassas City Public Schools and was a member of Manassas Baptist Church, the Manassas Volunteer Fire Company and a founding member of Manassas Volunteer Rescue Squad.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband James Louis Clarke, a son in law Curtis Brown and a granddaughter Tiffany Clarke.
Survivors include her children Matthew Clarke and Rose, Tim Clarke and wife Sandy, Kari Brown and Andy Clarke and wife Andrea; ten grandchildren Stephen Clarke, Courtney Aubrey and husband Jeff, Chris Clarke and wife Tina, Carly Sichak and husband Tim, Mackenzie Aubrey, Sean Clarke and wife Emilee, Curtis Brown and Beth, Kaitlyn Brown, Hailey Clarke and Taylor Clarke; and by eight great grandchildren Billy Clarke, Peyton Aubrey Huff, Jacob Clarke, Evan Clarke, Parker Aubrey Huff, Shannon Clarke, Sylas Clarke, and Jack Sichak.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at which time a memorial service will be conducted at Manassas Baptist Church, 8800 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA with Rev. David Donahue and Pastor Mike Clements officiating. A reception will follow at Manassas Volunteer Fire Company, 9322 Centreville Road, Manassas, VA 20110 with light refreshments being served.
