Gloria Lee O’Neal

Gloria Lee Price O’Neal: 1942-2017. It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Gloria Lee Price O’Neal, 75, of Vero Beach, Florida. She was born on February 2, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Charles and Freda Price who are now both deceased. She graduated in 1960 from Brooklyn Park High School in Maryland where she married her first love and high school sweetheart Robert “Bob” O’Neal. At the time of her death they had been happily married for 57 years. After living in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, Gloria moved in 1976 with her family to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she worked as a bookkeeper for the Corp of Engineers and the State Department’s mission at JECOR. All the children at the JECOR compound loved Gloria and spent much of their time in our villa. In 1982, the family returned to Florida where she trained and worked as an Actuarial Clerk for the Nacional Council on Compensation Insurance, where she later retired. Gloria was an excellent cook, home decorator and loving mother. She was an avid reader of mystery novels. Gloria is survived by her loving husband Bob and two of their three children Susan and Robert Jr. Tragically, their third child, Peggy, passed away on Gloria’s birthday in 2015. Gloria has eight grand-children Daniel, Michael, Patrick, Andrew, Thomas, Dominique, Desmond, Devon and two great grand-children Allie and Samantha. To my sweetheart GLO: until we meet again I will always love you and cherish our time together.
