2 Injured, 8 Cars Damaged in Commuter Lot Crash

NORTH STAFFORD, Va. -- Speed appears to be a factor in a crash that injured two people and damaged eight cars Tuesday morning in the Mine Road commuter lot.

The driver of a 2007 Mercedes-Benz sedan pulled into the commuter lot off Garrisonville Road (Va. 610) and clipped the bumper of a 2003 Honda that was already parked in a row of other vehicles.

The Mercedes went on to strike a 1996 Mazda pickup injuring a 20-year-old male that was sitting inside the truck, said Virginia State Police Sgt. Les Tyler.
