Prince William Police Department: “Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On September 17 at 11:22 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Cherry Hill Road in Dumfries to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed multiple gunshots were heard in the area. While investigating the incident, officers located shell casings and a gun light. No injuries or property damage were reported.”
“Rape Investigation – On September 17 at 11:39 p.m., officers responded to the Linden Park Apartments located in the 3600 block of Jurgensen Drive in Triangle to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 43-year-old woman, was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance, identified as the accused, while inside the apartment. The victim was eventually able to separate from the accused and police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Daniel ROSAS GONZALEZ, was arrested. Arrested on September 17: Daniel ROSAS GONZALEZ, 28, of the 3600 block of Jurgensen Drive in Triangle. Charged with rape. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond.”
“Aggravated Sexual Battery – On September 18, detectives concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the Dumfries area of Prince William County between September 12-17. The investigation revealed the victim, a 64-year-old woman, was sexually assaulted on more than one occasion during the above timeframe by the accused who was working as an in-home health aide for a family member of the victim. Further investigation revealed during one of the encounters, the accused followed the victim into another room of the home where he refused to let her leave before sexually assaulting her. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Emmanuel ADAAQUAH, was arrested. Arrested on September 18: Emmanuel ADAAQUAH, 31, of Dumfries. Charged with 2 counts of aggravated sexual battery, 1 count of abduction, and 1 count of sexual battery. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond.”
“Brandishing of a Firearm – On September 16 at 2:56 p.m., officers responded to Rancho El Cerrito located at 4210 James Madison Highway in Haymarket to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 46-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated in an outdoor area at the rear of the premises. During the encounter, the accused brandished a firearm, and the police were contacted. The accused was located on site and detained without incident. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jeorge Steve ZEPEDA IRIAS, was arrested. Arrested on September 16:

Prince William Police Department: “Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED | ARREST – On September 12, the suspect sought in connection to the brandishing that was reported to have occurred in the area of Minnieville Road and Savannah Drive in Woodbridge on April 16, was arrested. On August 24, officers obtained arrest warrants for the suspect identified as Theaudis Cavarlo PRIOLEAU II who was arrested on September 12 without incident.

“Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related [Previously Released] – On April 16 at 9:00 p.m., officers responded to investigate a brandishing that was reported to have occurred in the area of Minnieville Road and Savannah Drive in Woodbridge earlier that evening. The investigation revealed the victim, a 24-year-old man, was driving on Minnieville Road when he was involved in a road rage incident with the rider of a motorcycles who was driving with a utility vehicle and another motorcycle. During the encounter, the group surrounded the victim’s vehicle where the motorcycle rider brandished a firearm towards the victim. The victim was able to separate from the suspects and continued driving. The group followed the victim to Hersand Court, where a second brandishing incident occurred. At no time during either incident were shots fired. The riders were described as a white male with a full beard and two black males, one also had a beard. The investigation continues.”
“Possession of Child Pornography – On September 11, a Prince William County detective assigned to the Northern Virginia/DC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force concluded an investigation into the possession of child pornography. In August, the task force detective received information from Fairfax County police that the accused was in possession of child pornography. During the investigation, detectives conducted a search warrant on the suspect’s residence where they collected electronic items containing child pornography. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Mario Esteman ALVAREZ BENITEZ, was arrested.
Arrested on September 11: Mario Esteman ALVAREZ BENITEZ, 20, of 16940 Point Pleasant Lane in Dumfries. Charged with 1 count of possession of child pornography and 9 counts of possession of child pornography 2nd or subsequent offense. Court Date: October 30, 2023 | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond.”
“Possession of Weapons on School Grounds – On September 8 at 9:26 p.m., officers on security detail for the football game at Colgan High School located at 13833 Dumfries Road Manassas (20112) were notified of a group of individuals who were in possession of a firearm. The investigation revealed school security were speaking to four individuals when an object, believed to be a weapon, was observed being exchanged within the group. Prior to the officers arriving, the group dispersed and fled on foot. Officers located three of the four individuals outside of the stadium where they were detained without incident. While checking the area, officers were informed one of the individuals had dropped something near a storm drain outside of the stadium where officers located two firearms, one of which had been previously reported stolen. No shots were fired, and the weapons are not believed to have been brandished at any point. The individuals previously detained were identified as two 18-year-old men, and one 19-year-old man, all current or former graduates of the school system. No charges have been placed at this time. The investigation continues.”
“Armed Robbery – On September 9 at 7:02 p.m., officers responded to the Walmart located at 17041 Richmond Highway in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed store security confronted a woman who was concealing items. During the encounter, the woman retrieved a knife and lunged towards the employee who was able to avoid being cut. The suspect then left the store with the unpaid items and an unknown man. Both suspects got into a grey Nissan SUV which appeared to be driven by a third suspect. No injuries were reported. A knife and a watch were reported missing.”
