The Manassas City Council killed a proposal to offer affordable housing to police, firefighters, teachers, and other Manassas City Government employees.
During its Monday, June 12 meeting, the council voted to deny a request to rezone the nearly three-acre Manassas Arms apartment complex on Wesley Avenue, near Osbourn High School, to allow 28 new townhomes next to the existing 24-unit apartment complex.
