Wexton Re-elected: Loudoun turns out, Cao narrowly wins Prince William’s vote

Wexton

Jennifer Wexton (D) is projected to keep Virginia's 1oth congressional seat, beating Republican challenger Hung Cao.

Wexton won with 53% of the vote. Loudoun County was the two-term congresswoman's stronghold, giving her the advantage she needed to win, nearly 24,000 more votes than Cao in the county. Wexton was a prosecutor in Loudoun County and represented its residents in the Virginia Senate before winning her congressional seat in 2018, flipping the seat long held by Republicans.
