A Stafford County mother said her 8-year-old daughter was shown a book about sex, masturbation, and power while using the public library's app.
That's not OK, Adela Bertoldi, the mother, told the Stafford County Board of Supervisors during its May 17 meeting. "My daughter is eight years old, loves the Easter Bunny, loves Christmas, and the only association she was with the word sex is whether it pertains to male or female," said Bertoldi.
