A woman who regularly represents CASA, a group that supports Hispanic immigrants in the U.S. and eliminating federal border patrols, called Yesli Vega -- the first and only Hispanic elected to the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, a racist.
It was the third time in three years the woman verbally attacked the supervisor, accusing Vega of not representing the "Spanish community."
Afterward, the Board of County Supervisors promptly turned around and gave the CASA $2 million, on top of $5 million of state government money Supervisors funneled to the organization in 2021. The funding will be used for a new immigrant "welcome" center to be built in the county.
