A new Amazon Fresh grocery store opened near Manassas today.
The 45,000-square-foot store is the largest in the chain and sits at Sudley Manor Square, 7807 Sudley Road. The has grand opening deals and festivities at the store through this weekend including gift card giveaways, free samples, and special discounts.
The new store is one of three Amazon Fresh grocery stores coming to Northern Virginia. A new store will open on June 23 in Lorton, and an Arlington location will open in the coming weeks.
All three locations will offer Just Walk Out Shopping, which allows customers to purchase items using their cell phones and skip the checkout line.
In eastern Prince William County, a long-sought-after Whole Foods Market is slated to open the new Quartz District at Prince William Parkway and Minnieville Road. The grocery store will anchor the 145-acre development that still awaits county government approval.
