Things are going pretty well in Manassas, said Ralph Smith, running for re-election.

He wants to keep it that way and hopes voters will elect him to his first full, four-year term on the Manassas City Council.

Smith, 77, was appointed to the council in 2019 to complete Councilman Ken Elston's term after he resigned. In November of that year, Smith won an election to finish Elston's time, which expires this year.
