In Fredericksburg, the University of Mary Washington held a virtual debate between the three candidates running to be elected as a delegate for the 88th District.
Democrat Kecia Evans, Republican Phillip Scott, and Libertarian Tim Lewis seek to fill the seat that will be vacated by Mark Cole, the Republican incumbent who decided not to run and will vacate the seat at the end of his term on December 31.
Whoever wins the race on November 2 will represent portions of Stafford, Spotsylvania, and Fauquier counties, and Fredericksburg.
