From Prince William police: On September 29, detectives with the Special Victims Unit concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the Woodbridge (22193) area of Prince William County on August 1.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14-year-old female juvenile, was inappropriately touched by an acquaintance, identified as the accused, on two separate occasions during that day. The victim recently reported the incidents prompting the police investigation.

Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Juan G. LAGOS CABRERA, was arrested.

Suspect with warrant arrested 

From the Stafford sheriff’s office: Clint Farm Road, 9/30, 8:25 p.m. Deputy C.S. Harding, Deputy S.C. Jett, and Deputy C.R. Szentkuti responded to the residence for a warrant service. Upon arrival, the deputies observed the suspect, Kyle Pearson, 25, of Fredericksburg, inside his vehicle parked in the driveway. As they attempted to take Pearson into custody he began to resist, but was successfully taken into custody. A controlled substance was found in his possession. Pearson was served an outstanding warrant for grand larceny and a capias. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Pearson was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
