Stafford County Public Schools spent $2 million to install new air purifiers in each of its government-run school buildings.
The county followed the lead of schools from 32 other states in taking more precautions against the spread of coronavirus in their buildings.
That precaution involves the purchase of air purifiers from Chicago-based company Fellows. This company specializes in such devices and has worked with other organizations such as the Chicago Cubs and Alamo Drafthouse to create healthier spaces in the workplace.
