Richard "Rick" Joseph Frechette, age 66, was born on July 16, 1954 to Alphee and Irene Frechette. He died peacefully in his home on May 11, 2021 after a sudden, short illness.
He grew up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, then entered the US Army. He was stationed at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, where he met his wife of 44 years, Lynn Leighty Frechette. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Richard Raymond Frechette, two grandchildren Helynn Frechette and William (Liam) Olson and his sister Mariann Nievera.
He was an avid NASCAR racing fan and had recently retired from 40+ years as an offset pressman beginning with Ken’s Speedprint and ending at Polaris Press.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 12:00 p.m.
