Michael Eugene Davis

Michael Eugene Davis was born on October 1, 1970 in Neptune, New Jersey to Sandra Ruth Davis [& Walter Richardson]. He is second of 2 children. In his 50 years of life, Michael Davis has accomplished so much through hard work and dedication.

Michael attended Neptune Public School System for Primary and Middle School. He then proceeded to Neptune Senior High School where he graduated with honors and excelled in Fine Art.

In 1988 he was admitted to Montclair State College where subsequently gained entry into the Department of Fine Arts. He was steadfast, focused and diligently pursued his artistic craft. After graduation from Art School in 1993, he went to work for Modern Technologies as a graphic artist.

In 1995 Michael moved and settled in Virginia, pursuing a career with the United States Government as a visual information specialist and later obtaining a position as a lead graphic designer with TSA/Department of Homeland Security.

As an Artist versed in many medias, he also attended Northern Virginia Community College for screenwriting/playwriting and only branched further into the various artistic ventures such as Acting, On-Camera Techniques, Advanced Scene Study, Comedy Sketch writing, Voice and Speech, New Play Workshop, Acting for TV/Commercials, Drama Workshop and Voice-over Narration. “He was just doing his thing.”

Michael was by nature a quiet and soft-spoken person with a good sense of humor. In his journey in life, he left a positive impression on all who he came in contact. However, it pleases Almighty God, that Michael should journey back home in his fifty-first year of life. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who loved him. He was a gentle and kind soul, a gentle giant.

Michael departed and transitioned from this earth on the 24th day April 2021

Michael is survived by his loving sister, Karen Lynn Davis, his nieces Erica Nicole Davis and Aliya Leone Davis.

Prince William County Animal Services Center is working to reunite lost pets with their owners. Between February 7 and February 10, 2025, several stray animals were turned into the shelter. In an effort to assist pet owners, the center posts photos of strays on its social media pages a few times each week.

However, the center does not respond to questions about specific animals via Facebook. If you believe your pet may be at the shelter, you should contact them directly by calling (703) 792-6465, emailing [email protected], or visiting the center in person.

As another significant snowstorm blankets Stafford County with over six inches of snow on February 11, 2025, local officials grapple with the Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) depleted snow removal budget, which was exhausted by a previous winter storm on January 5–6.

During a Stafford County Board of Supervisors meeting on February 6, 2025, VDOT Residency Administrator Kyle Bates warned about the agency’s financial limitations.

“That money is gone. It’s gone. Our snow budget was that one storm,” Bates said.
