More work needed to complete Krieger soccer complex 3 years after it opened

A multi-field soccer complex named after Prince William County's native daughters, U.S. soccer star Ali Krieger, is in need of additional funds in order to build it to completion.

Potomac District Supervisor Andrea Bailey asked Parks and Recreation Director Seth Handler Voss about the status of the fields at the Ali Krieger Sports Complex.

Voss replied that the field was 90% complete and needed more cash to be completed. The field was built in Potomac Shores and opened in 2018 is a 30-acre complex, including four soccer fields, two with artificial turf and two with grass turf.
