Stafford schools announces plans to return more students to classrooms 4 days a week

Stafford County will return more students to the classroom next month and pilot programs for elementary and secondary school students to return to school.

A presentation made to the board revealed Stafford schools plan for students to return to class on April 20 and have created an instructional plan to get students back on track. The goal is to have a four-day school week running from Tuesday to Friday.

This would include elementary, middle, and high school students. The board is still planning on a hybrid approach to the school curriculum. Still, it expects to have about 50% middle school students and 46% high school students to be phased back into the classroom.
