Tractor Supply store coming to Route 17, other retailers eye hosptial area

The Stafford Board of Supervisors approved a reclassification of agriculturally zoned land into an urban commercial zoned area to allow for the construction of a new Tractor Supply Company store.

The Tennessee-based retail outlet will build a location on a four-acre plot located on the north side of Warrenton Road (Route 17) at Cardinal Forest Drive, across from a Walmart store.

Tractor Supply Company will develop a 22,321 square-foot building with a 16,776 square-foot fenced outdoor sales area on the north side of the building. The new building's access point will be built from a portion of Lerose Drive, a private street. The street must 15-foot width to 35 feet to accommodate the new commercial traffic and will run from Warrenton Drive to the back of the new building.
