Stafford County is warning residents about fraudulent tax bills.
Some residents have received letters in the mail that look like tax bills. Commissioner of the Revenue Scott Mayausky took to Facebook to warn about the scam targeting county residents.
"This letter has been mailed to Stafford County taxpayers. It is NOT a Stafford County tax bill!"
