Whenever they get back into school, children at Woodbridge Middle School could soon have a new cell phone tower on campus. The Prince William County School Board is set to approve the tower at its 7:30 p.m. meeting on Wednesday, November. The school division stands to benefit from the deal.
–It’ll get $5,000 for each additional cell phone provider that uses the tower, after the initial carrier
–A monthly rent equal to 40 percent of gross revenue derived from the carriers located on the tower.
–It’ll also get $25,000 for about 2,600 acres of the school property that will be used to build the tower.
