There are two new doctors at Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg.
Mary Washington Healthcare (MWHC) announced a new practice to the Mary Washington Medical Group. Mary Washington Obstetrics and Gynecology, formerly known as Fredericksburg Women’s Health Associates, is dedicated to the health and well-being of women through all stages of life.
Expert care will be provided by the entire office team, backed by the expertise of Mary Washington Healthcare. Mary Washington Obstetrics and Gynecology practice provide a scope of women’s services including preventative health and wellness, family planning, pregnancy, minimally invasive surgery, pelvic pain, menopause, and ultrasound.
Eric Fletcher, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Mary Washington Healthcare stated in a press release, “We are honored to welcome doctors Leonard and Wilkes into the Mary Washington Healthcare family. We look forward to helping the physicians continue to provide great care to their patients.”
The move comes as two of the region’s largest women’s healthcare providers, Rappahannock Women’s Health and Central Virginia OB-GYN moved a significant number of its patients from Mary Washington Hospital to nearby Spotsylvania Regional Hospital earlier this year, a story we first told you about here.
