A suspect behind a string of residential burglaries in the Staffordboro Commuter Lot area was arrested on Saturday by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office after a homeowner caught the suspect breaking into his home.
On November 9, 2019, at 9:29 p.m., members of the Special Problems Unit were called to reports of a suspect breaking into a residence on the 120 block of Doc Stone Road.
- Upon arrival, they made contact with one of the homeowners who advised that her husband had apprehended the suspect in the front yard.
The suspect was taken into custody and identified as Danis Antonio Calix-Garcia, 28, of Stafford.
