Samuel James Moore Sr.

Samuel James, Sr was born in Bristow, Virginia to the late Samuel James and Allie Ossie Moore-Holmes.

He attended Brown Elementary School and graduated from Jennie Dean (Manassas Industrial School for Colored Youth). He made his living as a truck driver for over 50 years.

Samuel aka “Sam”, “Sammy”, “Mo” was a honorable compassionate caring husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He loved drag racing, pitching horseshoes, telling jokes, and seeing others smiling and laughing. He loved his Hess trucks that “Santa” would bring him every Christmas.
