Miguel Tomas Santos passed away at the age of 47 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11th, 2019 at his home in Woodbridge surrounded by family. He was born on October 4th, 1971 in El Salvador to Rubenia de Jesus Santos and Trinidad Santos Garcia. At age 17 he came to the United States to create a better life for himself and his family. He had 3 beautiful children with Mirian Reyes Santos, his dedicated wife of 30 years: Elsy, Christian, and Gabriela. Miguel was a family man who dedicated his life to his family and church. Every memory with him brings a smile to the face of those who had the privilege of sharing them with him. He was known as a man with a kind soul and a smile for everyone. He stayed true to his character to the very end, making jokes and bringing joy to those around him even in his final days. As a guide and never a judge, he made it into the hearts of all those around him. He leaves behind family and friends that will keep him in their hearts forever. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 17th, 2019 at 9:45am at Holy Family Church, 14160 Ferndale Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22193. Burial will follow at 2:00pm Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032.

NaciĂł el 4 de octubre de 1971 en El Salvador, hijo de Rubenia de JesĂşs Santos y Trinidad Santos GarcĂa. A los 17 años llegĂł a los Estados Unidos para crear una vida mejor para Ă©l y su familia. Tuvo 3 hermosos hijos con Mirian Reyes Santos, su dedicada esposa de 30 años: Elsy, Christian y Gabriela. Miguel era un hombre de familia que dedicĂł su vida a su familia y a su iglesia. Cada recuerdo con Ă©l trae una sonrisa a la cara de aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de compartirlos con Ă©l. Era conocido como un hombre con un alma bondadosa y una sonrisa para todos. Se mantuvo fiel a su carácter hasta el final, haciendo bromas y trayendo alegrĂa a los que le rodeaban incluso en sus Ăşltimos dĂas. Como guĂa y nunca juez, llegĂł al corazĂłn de todos los que lo rodean. Deja atrás a familiares y amigos que lo mantendrán en sus corazones para siempre.
