FREDERICKSBURG — Fire crews were called to Sheetz gas station about 7:34 a.m. Sunday.
A fire had broken out inside the convenience store at 2001 Carl D. Silver Parkway in Fredericksburg.
Crews extended their hose and extinguished the blaze and Fredericksburg fire chief Mike Jones.
Crews worked to remove smoke that had built up inside the building. A fire marshal is investigating to determine the cause of the blaze.
The fire marshal ordered the business is closed until further notice, said Jones.
No one was injured, and there is no damage estimate at this time, said Jones.
Fire crews from both Stafford and Spotsylvania counties were called to help extinguish the fire.
