James Wood Whitt

James Wood Whitt, born on January 7, 1939 in Richmond Virginia, passed away on

March 31, 2019 in Woodbridge, Virginia.

His parents William James Whitt and Lola Wood Whitt preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Ruth Bondurant; two daughters Tara

Lynn Blot and Kimberly Anne Scites both of Woodbridge Virginia; two granddaughters,

Danielle Marie Blot of Washington DC and Analisa Marie Scites of Woodbridge

Virginia; two sisters, Frances Ann Gilliam of Concord Virginia and Sharon Lynn

Thornton of Richmond Virginia; and two brothers William Beverly Whitt of Waldorf

Maryland and Ronald Howard Whitt of Wicomico Virginia.

A private gathering was held at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home. The graveside service

was April 12, 2019 in Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton Virginia.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 191 Waukegan

Road, Suite 105, Northfield IL 60093.
