From Prince William police reports:
Residential Burglary | Indecent Exposure – On May 3 at 1:49AM, officers responded to the 4000 block of Westwind Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a suspicious person. A homeowner in the neighborhood reported to police that a naked, unknown individual was seen breaking an exterior lamppost on the property before running away.
Officers arrived in the area and observed evidence of a burglary at the residence and requested assistance from a police K-9. With the assistance of the K-9, officers located the individual, identified as the accused, a short distance away from the initial location. The accused, identified as a 17-year-old male, was taken into custody without further incident. The accused was treated on scene for minor injuries. No items were reported missing from the residence.

MANASSASÂ
From Manassas police reports:
Vehicle Fire/Arson Investigation
On May 3, 2019 at 1:33 a.m., officers from the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 10200 block of Hendley Rd to assist the Fire Department with a vehicle fire. While fire crews extinguished the vehicle fire, Manassas City Fire Department received a report regarding the smell of gasoline coming from a residence nearby. Police and Fire/Rescue personnel responded to the residence to investigate further and located an extinguished fire on the rear patio of the residence. It is believed a fire sprinkler extinguished the fire prior to public safety personnel’s arrival. At this time these two events are believed to be related. The victim’s residence sustained minor damage to the rear patio. No injuries were reported and there is no suspect information available at this time. This case is currently under investigation by the Manassas City Fire Marshal’s Office.

Osbourn Park High School has received the Virginia School Breakfast Award from the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) for its success in expanding breakfast access, maintaining nutritional integrity, and serving more scratch-cooked meals. The school is one of three recipients this year.
Cafeteria manager Nidia Bruno expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the team’s dedication to feeding students. Andrea Early, director of Food and Nutrition, noted that breakfast participation at Osbourn Park has increased by 30% and praised the cafeteria team for efficiently managing the expanded program. The school benefits from the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Program, which provides free breakfast and lunch to all students.

Nothing Bundt Cakes has officially opened its doors just outside Manassas, bringing its signature, handcrafted bundt cakes to the community. The Prince William Chamber of Commerce celebrated the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new bakery at 9825 Liberia Avenue, Suite 101.
The popular national bakery chain, known for its rich, moist cakes and signature cream cheese frosting, offers a variety of flavors and sizes, from bite-sized Bundtinis to 10-inch Bundt cakes perfect for special occasions. The store aims to be a go-to destination for birthdays, anniversaries, and everyday celebrations.
“We are ecstatic to have them join the thriving business community in Prince William County,” said a representative from the Chamber. “Their presence adds to the diverse selection of locally owned and franchised businesses that make this area a great place to shop and dine.”
