North Stafford paint store to open with free lunch

NORTH STAFFORD -- There’s a new place to buy paint in North Stafford.

Spectrum Paint will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, May 2. The managers will host a cookout lunch between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and will have vendors on hand in celebration of the store's grand opening.

Brian Young is the store manager and a 15-year resident of Stafford County. “…there was a need for a neighborhood paint store that will take the necessary time with our guests to educate them on our products, different coating systems…. For instance, the staff at the Fredericksburg Spectrum Paint store on Plank Road has one of the most knowledgeable and customer oriented employees I’ve ever encountered. That’s the Spectrum Bar we at Stafford plan on continuing to raise. I want customers to come to our store for our excellent products and our service. Our goal is to meet these standards,” said Young.

The store carries a variety of brands to include, Prolux, Arbor Coat and Ready Seal exterior wood stain, and sundry items from 3M,  Hyde, Dickies, Graco, Wooster, and Zinsser. For paint, the store carries Benjamin Moore, PPG, and its private Spectrum line of paints.
