Accused Stafford sandwich thief jailed

NORTH STAFFORD — A man who ordered a sandwich ended up in jail shortly thereafter.

Stafford sheriff’s deputies were called to a WaWa store at 105 Garrisonville Road at 11:04 p.m. Monday, April 22.

A store employee told deputies that they saw a man leave without paying for his food order, a sandwich, said Stafford sheriff’s spokeswoman Amanda Vicinanzo.

Justin Chichester, 33, of Stafford was arrested and charged with concealment of merchandise, his third offense, said Vicinanzo.

He was jailed at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,000 bond.
