The water company is hosting an art contest that — you guessed it — involves water colors

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY – (Press Release) Check out the work of some of the finest high school artists in Northern Virginia at the Prince William County Service Authority’s Water Art Invitational on March 14, 2019.

This year’s Water Art Invitational is dedicated in memory of Neabsco District Supervisor John D. Jenkins, a long-time member of the Board of County Supervisors and avid supporter of the annual water-themed art event.

There are a record-breaking 192 entries in this year’s competition, which will be held at the Raymond Spittle Building, 4 County Complex Court in Woodbridge. Doors open at 6 p.m. to view the artwork, with the awards ceremony starting at 6:45 p.m. The event is free and light refreshments will be served.

The theme for this year’s Water Art Invitational is Every Life and Job Depend on Water. Thanks to the generous support of 26 corporate sponsors, there will be cash prizes for category winners as well as door prizes for the student artists. The categories include Painting & Drawing, Photography and Computer Graphics.
