STAFFORD – (Press Release) Multiple suspects were arrested early Sunday morning by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office following a disturbance at a local hotel.
On March 3, 2019, at approximately 1:34 a.m., 1st Sgt. Neuhard responded to reports of a fight in progress at the Clarion Inn located at 564 Warrenton Road. Upon arrival, he observed approximately one hundred people dispersing in the parking lot. He also observed Deputy Wright speaking with a male subject who was bleeding from his head.
The male subject told Deputy Wright that he was injured while trying to break up a fight. He was hit over the head by what he believes to be a beer bottle by an unknown subject. He denied treatment by rescue personnel.
While speaking to the victim, Deputy Wright heard yelling and a group of approximately 15 to 20 people had gathered on the side of the hotel. Two female subjects were screaming at each other and wildly gesticulating as bystanders tried to pull them apart. Deputies ordered the group to leave, but the two female subjects continued the altercation.
Kendrea Hall, 35, of Hagerstown, Md. was subsequently taken into custody. Deputies detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her person and her eyes were glassy. She was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober on charges of public intoxication.
The other female subject in the altercation was identified as Sharon Jackson, 44, of Fredericksburg. Deputy Vasquez detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her person and noticed her speech was slurred. She was taken into custody for public intoxication and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
In the meantime, a third subject was taken into custody after he repeatedly failed to comply with deputies’ commands to step away while they spoke with the victim with the head injury. Deputy Motely detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the subject’s person and observed that his eyes were glassy, his speech was slurred, and he was unsteady on his feet.
The subject was identified as Delante White, 27, of Fredericksburg. He was taken into custody for public intoxication and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
