Furloughed federal workers may be headed back to the office, but the effects of the partial government shutdown have been far-reaching in our community.
That is why your favorite place to dine with friends and family wants to give those workers who were furloughed a FREE dinner. Chick-fil-A Bristow invites furloughed federal workers to dine-in with them from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31.
They’ll get a free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Meal or Eight-Count Nugget Meal. With so many federal workers living in our area, this is Chick-fil-A Bristow’s way of letting them know they care.
Chick-fil-A Bristow Operator Mike Lovitt asks that guests RSVP on the restaurant’s events page prior to arriving for their free meals.
“It will be our pleasure to serve you on your next visit to our restaurant,” said Lovitt.
Chick-fil-A Bristow is located at 9939 Sowder Village Square in Manassas.
The partial federal government shutdown dragged on for 35 days before ending on Friday, Jan. 25. It left more than 800,000 federal workers from across the U.S. working without pay.
