A pair of stolen cars in Manassas

Stolen Vehicle

On December 26, 2018, at 10:38 a.m., an officer with the Manassas City Police Department located a stolen vehicle which was parked and unoccupied on the 9700 block of Beech Place. The vehicle is described as a white 2013 Acura ILX. Pictured above is a person of interest in this case. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Commercial Burglary
On December 24, 2018, at 10:23 a.m., police responded to the Cell Phone Clinic located at 8632 Centreville Rd for a report of a burglary. The investigation revealed forced entry was made into the business through a window which was shattered. Cell phones, electronics, and cash were reported stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Stolen Vehicle
On December 26, 2018, at 9:20 a.m., police responded to the 8800 block of Oliver Ct for a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim told police she parked?her vehicle in the parking lot in front of her residence on December 25,? 2018, and returned a day later and noticed the vehicle was missing. The vehicle is described as a 2004 white Buick Century bearing VA tags “LUVNSTF.” The investigation is ongoing.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle
On December 27, 2018 at 3:51 a.m., officers responded to the 9300 block of Witch Hazel Way for a report of a Larceny from a motor vehicle. The victim told police he heard a noise and looked outside the window of his residence and observed a male suspect, rummaging through his vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect who fled the area on foot. The suspect is described as a white male with a mustache, approximately 5’9” tall and 170 lbs last seen wearing a red jacket with a brown hood. A small amount of currency was reported missing from the vehicle.

A townhouse fire in Woodbridge displaced a family of five late Saturday afternoon after flames spread from the rear of the home into the attic.

Fire and rescue units responded at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, to the 3400 block of Aviary Way, near Lake Ridge Elementary School, after a resident reported seeing smoke coming from the back of their home. When crews arrived, they found smoke and flames moving up the rear of the house and into the attic. Firefighters quickly contained and extinguished the fire.

No injuries were reported, but the home sustained moderate damage. The Building Official declared the residence unsafe for occupancy. The American Red Cross assists two adults and three children displaced by the fire.

A suspect in a bank robbery on Route 3 was arrested thanks to a tip leading authorities to a Fredericksburg hotel.

Dawson

According to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, the robbery occurred at Truist Bank, located at 3600 Plank Road, next to Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:15 a.m. A bank employee called 911 to report that a man had entered the bank and demanded money. The employee complied with the demands, and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities confirmed that the suspect did not display a weapon during the robbery, and no injuries were reported. Witnesses at the scene provided law enforcement with a description of the suspect’s getaway vehicle, which was identified as a copper/orange pickup truck.
