One night of multiple commercial burglaries on Minnieville Road

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press Release) Officers responded to investigate multiple commercial burglaries that occurred in the area of Dale Blvd and Minneville Rd in Woodbridge between 7:01 p.m. on December 16 and 12:48 a.m. on December 17.

The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect forced entry into the Birago International Markets, Wonder Nails, Sampan Chinese Carry Out and Top China Restaurant.

Alarm notifications were received which prompted officers to be dispatched to the businesses. When officers arrived, they discovered that the front glass doors had been shattered. A police K-9 searched the surrounding areas for the suspect who was not located.

Money was reported missing from the businesses. Lottery tickets were also taken from the Birago International Markets. Further investigation revealed that the suspect entered the Wonder Nails a second time after the front door had been secured with a temporary wooded covering some time following the initial burglary.

The investigation continues.

On December 16 at 8:49 a.m., officers responded to the Fresh Unisex Barbershop & Salon located at 16685 River Ridge Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. An employee reported to police that entry was made into the business through a rear door, which was forced open.

Surveillance footage revealed that an unknown male entered the business around 11:05PM on December 15. The suspect rummaged through the business before fleeing on foot. No property was reported missing. The investigation continues.

Suspect is described as male of an unknown race, between 18-28 years of age, 5’08”, 160 lbs, wearing a grey hoodie, grey jacket and dark colored pants.
