WOODBRIDGE â (Press Release) On December 4 at 12:11PM, investigators with the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the intersection of Opitz Blvd and River Walk Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a two-vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2008 Toyota Camry was attempting to make a left turn onto southbound River Walk Way from westbound Opitz Blvd when the vehicle collided with a 2016 Hyundai Genesis which was traveling eastbound on Opitz Blvd. The driver of the Genesis was transported to an area hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries on December 6. The driver of the Camry sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Speed, alcohol, and drug use are not factors in the collision. Charges are pending. The investigation continues.
