MANASSAS – (Press Release) On November 26, 2018 at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 8900 block of Rosewood St for a report of a burglary. The investigation revealed forced entry was made through a sliding glass door of the residence between 2:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Cash and jewelry were reported missing. The investigation is on-going.
Larceny from Vehicle
On November 24, 2018 at approximately 3:22 p.m., an officer of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 8500 block of King Carter St for a report of a vehicle break-in. The victim told police he heard the alarm on his vehicle go off and he observed a subject rummaging through his vehicle. Upon being discovered, the suspect fled the scene. No items were reported missing. The suspect is described as a white male approximately 5’5” and 160 pounds with gray hair.
Unlawful Wounding
On November 24, 2018 at approximately 1:41 a.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 9000 block of Robson Dr for a report of an assault. Through investigation it was determined the victim and the suspect were in a verbal argument that escalated when the suspect struck the victim multiple times. The victim sustained minor injuries. The suspect, Jordan Aron TOFTE, was arrested and charged with unlawful wounding and disorderly conduct.
