Multiple charges in Woodbridge arson case

WOODBRIDGE - (Press Release) Over a period of several months, the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s Office has been investigating a string of small arson fires at the Dominion Middle Ridge Apartments in Woodbridge. The joint investigation, with the Prince William County Police, involved other suspicious activities but focused on the arson fires. During the course of this investigation, and with the public’s and property management’s help, a suspect was developed. Besides identifying the suspect below, additional forensic work was conducted to help develop the case.

The suspect, Mr. Christopher Hope, was interviewed, and subsequently confessed his involvement. Mr. Hope is a current resident of the Dominion Middle Ridge Apartments where the fires occurred. Mr. Hope was arrested and charged for his role in the fires. The investigation continues and additional charges are pending.
