GAINESVILLE — There’s a new Hibachi restaurant opening this month at Gateway Promenade.

A new location of Passion Fin is slated to open at Gateway Promenade in Gainesville at 7320 Atlas Walk Way. While this restaurant’s main attraction is sushi and hibachi, but they will also offer Thai and Chinese food. They will serve beer, wine, sake and an assortment of soft drinks.

This family-friendly restaurant is locally owned and operated. Owner Jay Lin recently relocated to the Gainesville area to personally oversee operations of this location.

“We are very involved in the community,” says Lin. “We plan to donate gift cards to the school system and local fire departments.”

While Lin says all their food is delicious, he highly recommends their sashimi and one of their signature sushi dishes, the “Red Skins Roll.” This specialty roll has shrimp tempura, spicy crab meat, spicy tuna, and avocado.

Lin credits their continued success with consistent, quality food that tastes great every time. They provide excellent customer service in a relaxing environment.

Passion Fin is currently staffing the Gainesville location and job listings will be posted on their website. They will also announce their grand opening date online, so they suggest customers check their site for updates often.
