Good Morning Prince William – Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 5th for Literacy Volunteers of America Food for Thought – A Taste of Prince William fun family event. It’s at the VFW Post #1503 on Minnieville Road in Woodbridge from 6:30-8: 30 pm. Tickets are $30 and kids 10 and under are free. 30 local restaurants will be there along with door prizes, raffle items and a trivia contest. You can purchase tickets at their office or online at www.lvapw.org. This is a super fun way to support adult literacy in our community.
· The General Heiser Boys & Girls Club in Dumfries is looking for volunteer coaches for various skill levels in the girl’s volleyball program age 8-13yrs and the co-ed basketball program for ages 5-15yrs. Typically practice is 1-2 hrs. per week and 2games per week. The basketball season starts June 11-12 and the volleyball season begins June 18th. Come share your love of the game!
