BRISTOW — Four children all aged five-years-old were sexually assaulted at a Bristow day care center.
Police said a five-year-old girl told her parent that she had been inappropriately touched while at Minnieland Academy located at 10368 Bristow Center Drive on March 26.
Police later identified three girls who all reported being assaulted at the same location since March, according to Prince William police
Police said an assistant teacher at the school assaulted the children.
Taylor Keith Boykin, 27, of Aqua View Court in Nokesville is charged with four counts of aggravated sexual battery, four counts of object sexual penetration, and four counts of indecent liberties by a custodian, according to Prince William police.
“Minnieland regrets that this occurred and is cooperating with local authorities in the investigation. Due to the nature of the incident and the continuing investigation, we are limited in our ability to comment further,” states Minnieland spokeswoman Gina Dabney in a prepared statement.
She was unable to tell us for how long Boykin worked with the daycare center.
The arrest of the employee comes more than four years after two Minnieland employees were charged with running a baby fight club at a daycare center on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge.
Kierra Spriggs and Sarah Jordan were accused of snapping rubber bands on the wrists of small children, feeding them spicy foods, and forcing children to fight each other. Both were sentenced to three years, and two years in prison, respectively.
