Our loving daughter, Bridget Marie Mentzer passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 21, 2017. She was born in Virginia on October 24, 1984 to James Smith and Karen Sue Stanley. She was raised by her other mother, Vicki Smith and her husband James Smith.
Bridget worked as an assistant manager of the movie theatre in Manassas, Virginia. She loved her children Alexis Marie Mentzer, Emily Ann Mentzer, Mathew Mentzer and James Nathan Stanley. She leaves them behind to grieve for her as well as her husband Christopher A. Mentzer, her parents James and Vicki Smith and Karen Sue Stanley, her special friend Chris “Lee” Down’s and his mother Darlene Stanley as well as her sisters Carol Lynn Smith, Faith Louise Stanley, Angel Christine Mentzer and her brothers James Richard Booth and Raymond Earl Taylor IV. She was predeceased by her sister Audra De’Lene Lumpkin.
There will be a visitation held at the Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home 13318 Occoquan Road in Woodbridge, Virginia 22191 on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 6 – 8PM. A graveside service will take place at Dumfries Cemetery in Dumfries, Virginia on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
We will miss her.
