Jack Mason Cornell

Jack Mason Cornell, age 88, of Dumfries, VA, passed away on August 20, 2017. Beloved husband of almost 63 years to Nancy Bramell Cornell. Loving father of William J. Cornell and Milton R. Cornell (Marie). Cherished grandfather of Jason Cornell, Jeremy Cornell and Brittany Cornell. Great grandfather of J.J., Savanah, Jace, and Libby. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as His-In-Laws; Milton R. Bramell, Frederick L. Bramell,and Debbie Curlee. He was predeceased by his 7 siblings.

Jack retired as a warehouseman for the C.I.A. His family was his heart and soul. When not attending an auction with his wife, he could be found fishing, or watching his favorite football team; the Washington Redskins. His favorite time was spent with his sons. Beach vacations were a family affair.

The family will receive friends at the Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Boulevard, Dale City, VA 22193 on Thursday, August 24 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 25 at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Dumfries Cemetery
