Ann M. Drury

Ann Drury (nee Mykietyn), of Woodbridge, VA, passed away on August 17, 2017. Loving mother of Cindy (Jim) Clark, Robert Drury Jr. and Michael (Lori) Drury. Cherished grandmother of Ryan Drury, Zachary Drury and Austin Drury. Adored sister of John Mykietyn, Olga Kraemer, Mary Vetrini.and brother in law Jack (Doris) Drury. Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert J. Drury Sr. and her brothers and sisters Genio, Walter, Charlie, Leon, Eddie, Helen and Gert.

Ann was born in New Jersey, one of eleven children. She married Robert Drury and started living a Navy life for 26 years. Florida, California, Hawaii, Iceland and Virginia are amongst the places she called home. Whether she was doing the hula in Hawaii for the troops, winning cars in Tupperware, receiving The Red Apple award for food service or volunteering the KC Ladies, Ann selflessly gave her time to helping others.

Ann always had a smile on her face which was perpetuated by her love of God, country and family. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home on August 20, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM located at 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on August 21, 2017 at 10:30 AM with a reception to immediately follow Mass located at 14160 Ferndale Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22193.
