Sidney Gray Flickinger, age 89, of Nokesville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on August 11, 1927 in Nokesville, Virginia the son of the late Alton T. and c. Mae (Schaeffer) Flickinger. He served in US Army and was very active and loved the Prince William Fair.
Survivors include his brother, James A. Flickinger and wife Nancy of Nokesville, VA; sister, Betty Hoke of Nokesville; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00PM Friday, August 11, 2017 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA where funeral services will be held at 4:00PM with Dr. James W. Flickinger officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Vitas Hospice,
9625 Surveyor Court, Manassas, VA 20110.
