Jean Marie Ratliff

Jean Marie Ratliff peacefully departed this life surrounded by family and close friends on August 3, 2017 following a brief and brave battle with cancer.

Jean’s smile will truly be missed. She was a charming and selfless person always bringing joy to those around her.

Jean grew up in Manassas, Virginia and the Linton Hall area of Prince William County. She graduated from Brentsville High School in Nokesville, Virginia. She enjoyed working for J.E. Rice Company in Manassas as a bookkeeper for over 50 years. When not working, she loved spending time with her family and friends, reading and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Beavers, father James Beavers, brother Richard Beavers and sister Joan Beavers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Larry Ratliff; daughters Angie Ratliff (Art Starbird) and Dara Ratliff; grandchildren Cole and Callie Starbird; her sister Gracie Pollack and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Interment to be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or someone in need.
